How it works

SMAfrica combines community outreach, mental health awareness, and psychosocial interventions to create safe spaces where individuals can seek support, better understand mental well-being, and access resources that promote recovery and resilience. Sub-program “How Are You?” is our digital mental health awareness initiative — encouraging open conversations and reducing stigma through social media and community activities, with 500,000+ engagements.
